1/4 cup of Almond milk ( or your favorite milk)/ Water
Optional:
1 tablespoon of soaked chia seeds
a few slices of banana
Method:
Step 1: Soak rolled oats in milk or water.
Step 2: Add rest of the available ingredients.
Step 3: wohoo ready to eat
Notes:
For a 7:30pm class, I eat this at around 6:30pm. Soaking the oats could be overnight or two hours before I am ready to eat. Forgot to soak? well, five minutes soaking works too:)
Many start the new year with gym memberships that quickly fizzle out. Instead, consider a more sustainable approach: baby steps. Begin with a once-a-week fitness class and let it naturally become a part of your routine. This gradual integration helps build a lasting habit, setting the stage for a healthier year ahead.
Incorporate other zone 2 exercises into your routine as well. This could be a simple 30 minute walk or climbing stairs. The key is to establish a routine that works for you, and then gradually, it becomes a part of your family’s routine too. Imagine your family’s support as they adjust to your fitness schedule, expecting you to step out every Tuesday at 7:30 pm. They’ll see you, in your fitness gear, yoga mat in hand, setting a powerful example.
Consider the profound impact this will have on your children. By witnessing your commitment to fitness, they’ll learn to integrate it naturally into their lives. Remember, children often mirror their parents’ habits. A fit mother can inspire the entire family towards better health.
So, why choose Bombay Jam? Sure, you could run on a treadmill, watching the seconds tick away. Or, you could find yourself dancing to the latest Bollywood hits, losing track of time as you enjoy every moment. It’s a joyful way to exercise, blending fun with fitness.

I think fitness is the best accessory any person could have under their belt that money can never buy.
So, the good news is that you don’t need to spend money to be fit but all it takes is attitude. Summer , Winter, Fall…could be any season, your soul deserves to live in a healthy body and that is the reason everybody should go hug fitness for life.
Anyways, besides smartphones, I think this generation’s biggest phenomenon has been technology
enabling people to come together to form users group or just form a group to talk about a topic. Thank God for platforms like Facebook, Meetup, Whatsapp and so many more, that has allowed millions of folks like me who can gettogether virtually or for real.
So I was indeed looking for groups where people talk more about being healthy and aspire to be fit
forever. Yes indeed, found an amazing group called Fit n Fab on Facebook that had people like me who aspire to be fit for all seasons. Innumerable posts about fitness and local events related to being fit and healthy.
To top the chart, we, the members of Fit n Fab, did a surprise flashmob (kinda) at India Fest 2014.
We had so much fun dancing and sending the message to folks at India fest to be fit, fabulous, and be happy. We danced for the song ‘Happy’ by Pharell which was choreographed by jai Kirankumar and group.
Fab fun time with friends and family….here is a glimpse of it
