I think our mind is like our office laptop ; many applications left opened , many processes running , and gradually slowing down by the end of the day. REBOOT helps: always helps for any technical glitch. Well, the first trick learned in my undergrad Computer Science class and it still works for me 🙂 A software developer’s poor analogy but my point is that we should reboot our breath frequently for stress relief.
How do you do it?
Pranayama or breathing exercise, the seventh limb of yoga has the power to unwind you after a stressful day. Breathing is a natural process but we use only 10% of our lung capacity. Pranayama is all about maximising the capacity of lungs to inhale and exhale to relax and revitalize a tired body and mind.
Bollycardi uses Pranayama for cooling down the body and mind after a good forty five minutes of cardio dance workout. It is all about consciously breathing deep and focusing on your body and your breath. Seven minutes of basic breathing technique in Bollycardi is all it takes to feel happy.
I enjoy many benefits of Pranayama but those experiences are mine. To get your own, come Bollycardi with me …wink 🙂
